Cut Piece

Cut Piece from 2001 is a re-enactment, a repeating of the ‘cut piece’ from 1964 by Yoko Ono.
I’m squatting on the floor. I’m wearing a long evening dress. Next to me are three scissors.
The public is cutting my dress, in parts they knoting the cutting fabric pieces on/at my body, in parts they are taking the cutting fabric pieces home as a menory of this piece, in parts the dress is falling of my body.
